Mike Vintges

Mike Vintges is an enterprising healthcare executive with a strong history of producing impactful results that enhance revenue streams for his clients. He has successfully consulted with clients to design innovative approaches to contract/business development, program development and implementation, portfolio and contract management, supply price negotiations and financial management.

His broad experience has prepared him to effectively partner with hospitals, GPOs and suppliers to identify sustainable solutions to complex challenges. He utilizes adaptability and dynamic forward thinking to address complex issues and provide long-term solutions. With experience inside healthcare organizations, group purchasing organizations and in a consulting capacity, he is able to design communication strategies that resonate with all key audiences impacted by the solutions. These audiences include the C-suite, physicians, service line leaders, materials management, value analysis committees, medical device suppliers, marketing, community leaders and payers.

Mr. Vintges serves as a frequent speaker and advisor to the investment community on new medical technologies and procedures and has served as an industry expert. He has received industry recognition including the Statesman in Healthcare Administration Award presented by The American Academy of Medical Administrators, the Distinguished Service Award presented by the American Heart Association Texas Affiliate, an Outstanding Volunteer Leadership Award and an Outstanding Achievement Award and Texas State Flag which were both presented by the State of Texas House of Representatives. He was appointed to the Texas Council on Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke by Governor George W. Bush where he served from 2001 through 2006. He has also served as Chairman of the Heart Network of Texas and has served on editorial boards and contributed to articles published in "Modern Healthcare", "The Cardiovascular Professional", "Journal of the American Society of Cardiovascular Professionals and the Society of Cardiovascular Management", and "Cath Lab Digest."
